7945 Firmware issue on CUCM 7.x

I have a 7945 in a CUCM 7.x enviromnent that will not fully upgrade after the factory reset sequence (hold# - press 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,*,0,#) and is stuck on a screen that states it upgraded to term45.default "ok".

clearly it's not ok.

anyone have any thoughts?

Sam,

Is this just for a single 7945 or a bunch of them? What version do you have that you are trying to install? We have 9.2.1 firmware version out now, so i strongly recommend installing that as soon as possible to get around all the known bugs as well.

Just one that's acting up. Before I commit it to the deep, I wanted to see if anyone had any suggestions.

current FW version in prod is 45.8-3-1-22

CUCM System version: 7.1.3.20000-2

Sam,

I would try upgrading the phone first before you try to get an RMA on it, we've resolved a lot of phone bugs from 8-3-1 to 9-2-1. If you are still having issues after that then I would suggest opening a TAC case to proceed with an RMA since its a single phone that is having the problems.
