help! I have a 7961 that powers up (flashes all lights) then squences the headset,mute, and power then a green light stays on the power. I have tried holding down the "#" key for a few minutes but still nothing happens past the three lights squencing. I connected the phone directly to my laptop running wireshark and there is no activity on the wire. I also tried my phone console cable and I am getting nothing.

Yes, I did find that field notice as well, and they will NOT honor warranty on this if you don't have a support contract.

Hi Friends,
I have a similar issue with the Cisco 7970 phone (seeing attached picture). After doing factory reset, the phone just doesnt´work and not booting. It gets stuck with the green lights in sequencing, that's the way reason it´s impossible to do an upgrade. The phone is completely dead and the workaround is Request Return Material Authorization (RMA) product through normal service support channels.
