7975 SIP Configuration - Lines Problem

Hi all,

I'm trying to configure a Cisco 7975 for SIP.

I upgraded the phone to SIP75.9-3-1SR-1S and configured the xml.

The phone registers but there is a problem with the lines: on L1&L2, I see a phone icon with an X next to it.

The lines don't register..

Here is the config for L1:

<line button="1">

                <featureID>9</featureID>

                <featureLabel>100</featureLabel>

                <name>Auth_ID</name>

                <displayName>100</displayName>

                <contact>100</contact>

                <proxy>SIP_Provider_IP</proxy>

                <port>5060</port>

                <autoAnswer>

                    <autoAnswerEnabled>2</autoAnswerEnabled>

                </autoAnswer>

                <callWaiting>3</callWaiting>

                <authName>Auth_ID</authName>

                <authPassword>Password</authPassword>

                <sharedLine>false</sharedLine>

                <messageWaitingLampPolicy>1</messageWaitingLampPolicy>

                <messagesNumber>*0</messagesNumber>

                <ringSettingIdle>4</ringSettingIdle>

                <ringSettingActive>5</ringSettingActive>

                <forwardCallInfoDisplay>

                    <callerName>true</callerName>

                    <callerNumber>false</callerNumber>

                    <redirectedNumber>false</redirectedNumber>

                    <dialedNumber>true</dialedNumber>

                </forwardCallInfoDisplay>

            </line>

Do you have any ideas?

Has anyone had this issue before?

Thanks a lot.

Best regards

Here are the reasons why you could be seeing X...

Hope this helps!

Hi Karthik,

thanks for the link.

I haven't managed to solve the issue.

I tried also with a different firmware but the phone doesn't register.

I also configured the phone with a public IP but no luck. There is no FW between the phone and the SIP provider.

Any ideas what I should check?

Thanks.

Best regards

Hi Karthik,
