8821 with CME loosing registration

Hello, we have a CME with 8821 IP Phones, both on latest firmware, the 8821 are registered and working but after a while some 8821 wireless phones loose the registration to the CME, the ping to these 8821 keep working but they loose registration. To fix it we will have to try create/ no create profile many times and sometimes that doesn't work and we will have to restart the CME.

All 8821's have fixed IP's.

We had non cisco wireless AP's and we switched to Cisco AP's (standalone AP's around 6 AP's)

the problem is very annoying to the customer as any 8821 phone can stop working at any time

Please send the status messages from the 8821 web page and the phone console logs from the 8821.

This document shows how to get the logs from the web page, don't worry about the stuff pertinaing to the CLI on the phone.

Hi,

We've recently put 8821s on CME and are getting the same issues.

The phones unregister often. This never used to happen with the older 7925 phones.

Did you resolve your issue?

Thanks

Oli
