8841 Custo Ringtone

Hi,

I have a small business with only one Cisco 8841 phone. I don't care for the ring tones on the phone and would like to upload a different ringtone. I have looked through the 8841 configuration utility and cannot locate where I might upload a ringtone. I am able to upload new wallpaper but not ringtones. Am I missing something. Please help! David

P.S. I am not a power user at all. I am just a therapist who is trying to configure his phone. My old Polycom allowed me to upload ringers right in the utility but this is very confusing.

The phone administration guide contains a chapter on phone customization that explains how to create the necessary files and format for the ring tone.

Do you have CUCM Or CUCME ?

2) The Ringtone has to be uploaded in the CUCM/CUCME Server and Phone will download from there.
