88xx IP Phone Displays number@hostname after CUCM Upgrade

Hi Folks,

i think it will be a short answer for many of you but i can't find it.

After a upgrade from CUCM 8.6 to 11.5, our 88xx phones display incoming and outgoings calls to other parties like this:

---------------------------

CALLER NAME

NUMBER@HOSTNAME

---------------------------

We only want the Caller Name and the Number without any Hostname or Domain at the end.

I need some hints from you.

Thanks

Christian

Hi,

Please check the parameter below, it should be set to DN. If its set to DN already then i would suggest you to open a TAC case as it might be a new defect.

CUCM admin --> System -->  Service Parameters --> Cisco CallManager --> Search for URI Dialing Display Preference  --> Set it to DN

Aseem

Hello Aseem,

that was the Default, we did not touch it.

It is 4 weeks ago and i don't have any solution for this problem. The Service Parameter is set to "DN" and not to URI.

But on outgoing call e.g. external to 002233445566

The phone shows: 002233445566@cucm-pub-01

What is that? We have migrated and this is the second system that it was shown on 78xx, 88xx phones.

Any help is welcome!

Christian

Hi All

I have a similar issue.  Is there a resolution?
