8945 Call History blank

Hello,

I have a new install of a BE6000, with 8945 phones.  CUCM 10.5.1.10000-7, phones are running SIP8941_8945.9-4-1-8.  I built the config using Prime Colab Manager.  Everything is working nicely.

However one small problem, the phones Call History is blank.  I've placed outgoing calls, received calls, etc.  But Call History always shows (0).

Also I don't know if it's related, but my Directories list is blank.  No errors, but blank.  We don't use LDAP/AD, just the integrated CUCM users.

Thanks

Bill

Hi Bill,

Looks like it is the following bug

https://tools.cisco.com/bugsearch/bug/CSCun98104/?reffering_site=dumpcr

It mentions CME, but you can try downgrading or upgrading the phone firmware as the phone model and affected firmware are the same

firmware upgrade for 8945 phones now has no call history
CSCun98104

Symptom:
If you press the down arrow it will show the call history but empty. Application phone button doesn't show call history

Conditions:
Occurs with phone registered to CME

Workaround:
Downgrade firmware version to SCCP8941_8945.9-3-4-17

Thanks.  That was the fix.  I even tried the latest SIP firmware and it didn't work.  Only downgrading to SCCP8941_8945.9-3-4-17 fixed it.

Do you know why this bug says fixed, when the latest release still has the bug?

I would suggest checking with TAC if there is probably a special ES firmware available for the same.
