Hello All
I am having an issue with an 8961 SIP ip phone which is working fine but when user lifts the handset , there is no dial tone.
Any known reason for that ..
All suggestions welcome.

Hi Ravl,
Are you sure the phone is registered? If you press a line key did you hear the dial tone?
Go to CUCM Admin > Device > Phone > Phone Configuration > look for parameter:

Hello Leo
yes the phone is registered and user can make outgoing calls and receive incoming calls.
the strange thing here only is that no dial tone after lifting the handset.

Go to CUCM Admin > Device > Phone > Phone Configuration > look for parameter:
Auto Line Select. Set it to ENABLE.
Set it to ON
