Hi,
I am having some issues with a Plantronics Headset SP12 headset.
When you connect it to a 7941 Cisco IP Phone to the headset jack there is no sound at all, but when you connect it to the handset jack it works perfectly.
Is this headset model compatible with Cisco IP Phones??? (we have tried to use it with different models and we have the same behavior), do I need to change anything on the CM configuration to make these headsets work??? or should I get an amplifier for the headset (and what model) ???.
Thanks in advance for your help.
Best regards.

Hi,
Cisco doesn't test the headsets; they are tested by the 3rd party vendor with the Cisco IP Phones. You can ask your vendor and see if this model was tester or not.

Check your quick disconnect cable.
MUST BE:
PLANTRONICS QUICK DISCON TO MOD PLUG
Mfg#: 26716-01
If you have the A10-16, it's the wrong part and not compatible with Cisco phones.
