Add new subscriber server

Dear Experts,

We have One CCM (7825I2) Server is working as a publisher , the software version is 5.1.1.3000-5 , now we need to add new subscriber server but when I tried to add it, I faced a problem that there is no connectivity between it and with the first node.

But I am sure that ,the connectivity is up and no problem belong to the connectivity issue.

Is there any problem, If the software version is different between the first node and the new server ,since we have a diff ver on sub server?

Did you define the new server on the first node by going to System > Server > Add New?

Yes i added the new server on the first name ,IP and mac address

are you plugging all to the primary NIC of the server?

is the default GW reachable?

are you assigning static IP parameters?

just read the last part of your post:

YES THERE IS, they need to be the same version for this to work. during the install you get the option to install an SR or en ES, during this phase you need to apply the proper patch for both servers to have the same version
