Hi Adam,
If you are running FAX:
If this is the call flow:
Telco — PRI — GW — MGCP — CUCM — MGCP — VG224 — Fax/Modem
On both the Mgcp gateway make sure you have Modem passthrough enabled by the commands below:
no ccm-manager fax protocol cisco
mgcp modem passthrough voip mode nse
mgcp modem passthrough voip codec g711ulaw
(Bounce the MGCP stack by doing a "no mgcp/mgcp")
voice service pots
fax rate disable
Make sure you have that you have "Modem Passthrough" drop through option on the CUCM/MGCP page enabled and T.38 disabled.
Rate the post accordingly.

Kevin

Hi Adam,
Forgot to add this, just make sure you do not have slip on the PRI, this how you would check it:
mf-access#show controller t1 0
T1 0 is up.
No alarms detected.
Version info of slot 0: HW: 2, Firmware: 16, NEAT PLD: 14, NR Bus PLD: 22
Framing is ESF, Line Code is B8ZS, Clock Source is Internal.
Data in current interval (850 seconds elapsed):
0 Line Code Violations, 0 Path Code Violations
0 Slip Secs, 0 Fr Loss Secs, 0 Line Err Secs, 0 Degraded Mins
0 Errored Secs, 0 Bursty Err Secs, 0 Severely Err Secs, 0 Unavail Secs

Kevin

Thanks for the reply kevin,

mgcp modem passthrough voip mode nse
mgcp modem passthrough voip codec g711ulaw
(Bounce the MGCP stack by doing a "no mgcp/mgcp")

fax rate disable
The above commands should be executed on analog VG204 and also on the Voice Gateway on which ITSP PRI is terminating.
correct me if i am wrong.????
Thanks

Hi Adam,
If the PRI is added as MGCP to the CUCM, then yes.

Kevin
