I'm trying to upgrade from CM 4.1.3 to 6.01 but have the following problem:
My MCS 7825-H-2.2 is supported on CM 6.01 except the HDD is only 40gb. TAC said I can replace with an 80 gb drive but it must be a certain part# or the install will abort. Is this true, or can I use any brand HD?

Hi Lee,
I'm going to have to go with Tac on this one. The CCM install does go through a rather severe Hardware check and is likely to fail/abort without the proper HDD. I would go with the recommended MCS Version like;
HDD-7825-H2-80= Spare 80-GB SATA hard disk drive, cold-pluggable

Hope this helps!

I believe an equivalent two-letters brand name disk would work as well :)
