I am rolling out CUPs 6 and it is not talking to my CUCM 6.1.
My AXL user id on CUPS doesnt match CUCM, but for the life of me I can't find where to correct this on the call manager side.
Any help, and a slap on the back of the head is appreciated.

for one thing, you have to use the same account on CUPS and CUCM. Create a new AXL account on CUCM, give it the correct premissions, and groups per the Presence document.
If the password, make sure you keep it simple. I you use special characters, AXL will not work at all. Had this problem with Unity Connection.
it's ok to have multiple AXL accounts on CUCM. Keeps those account seperate from other applications that use AXL.

Under "User Configuration" select "Application User". Create a new user as you would create any user, but assign group as "Standard AXL user" and roles as "Standard AXL API Access"
