Bandwidth required for communication between a Cisco IP phone and Cisco Unity server

Hi,

Can anyone confirm me what is the codec being used between a Cisco IP phone and Cisco Unity server. Also i want to know what is the minimum bandwidth required for communication between a cisco IP phone and Cisco Unity Server.

You can use any codec, provided that you do transcoding.

If you want things to work sure and easy, use G.711 that take 80 Kbps and does not require transcoding.
