Hi,

I wanna prepare a bill of quantities of BE5K version 9.0 but couldn't find any part number to configure it through the ordering configuration tool

Product Migration Options

Customers  with an active Unified Communications software subscription contract  for the Cisco Business Edition 5000 will be eligible to upgrade to Cisco  Business Edition 9.0 software only. Customers will not be able to renew  Unified Communications software subscriptions or order new  subscriptions for Cisco Business Edition 5000, as software upgrades will  not be available beyond the 9.0 release. Customers that wish to get  software upgrades beyond the 9.0 release are encouraged to migrate the  product licenses and services to the Cisco Business Edition 6000.

Dear Rob,

One of my customer is having BE5000 . I want to add few IP Phones and conference stations. For that i need to consider licneses too . Now when BE5k is End of sale, is it not possible to add licenses too.

Hi Gautam,

You would be able to configure new IP phones and add licenses as well.But max. number of users supported is 500.

For licenses, u can go for CUWL.

Sorry i feel i coveyed it wrongly. I mean to say is it possible to order add-on Licenses for BE5K or the customer needs to migrate to BE6k Solution. Please find the EOS link below. Kindly help.

Hi Gautam,

Since BE 5K is End of sale , so , u need to purchase licenses after migrating to BE6K.

The PART Codes to be ordered for Licenses would also get changed.I thought u have already licenses.
