Call Hunt Pilot from outside?

We have recently moved to CUCM 11 from an old Avaya system. A hunt pilot of 6441 was created and is working without issue inside the building. That extension used is a DID and not accessible when calling the DID. Is there a way to make a Hunt Pilot accessible from the outside?

Digging through the configuration I'm thinking what needs to be done is the Hunt Pilot extension needs to change and a DN of 6441 then needs to be created and associated with the RemoteVM CIT Route Point done for voicemail that our toll free number uses to access voicemail from the outside.

Is there a more correct solution that I'm not seeing?

Thank you!

You need to ensure that the hunt pilot is in partition that is assigned to CSS of the ingress trunk/gateway. Do you have other DID extensions that are working? If so, make sure you assign the same partition to the pilot as the DNs and depending on how many digits are delivered by telco and where/if any translation takes place add it.  The translation could be done on the gateway via translation profile/rule or in CUCM as translation pattern.

Other DIDs are working including those in the same range is this 6441. Hunt Pilot 6441 is assigned the same partition as these DNs are working without issue.

Unsure on the issue but it is resolved now thank you.
