Call manager Publisher down -Whether I'll be able to add and remove phones ?

If my CUCM publisher (PUB) is down, will I be able to remove(delete) phones which are registered to any of my subscriber's ???

I am sure that I won't be able to add a new phone because of the licensing requirment which is only provided by the PUB, and also will I be able to add

a phone to any SUB, if that phone was ever registered on that cluster before.

Hi Archit,

You won't be able to delete/add phones registered to Subscriber in case if Pub is down.

From CUCM 6.x onwards, User Facing feature[UFF] were introduced which work in case if Pub is down .

If the phone was registered at one point then it will be allowed to register again.

Pretty much all functionality will be up except for system changes, ip phone services (if pointing to Pub).
