Hi,
Looking I'm for some help regarding the Barge Facility.
Are there any alternatives to the usual way the Barge facility is setup.
We have a call centre and want to be able to monitor phone calls.
Currently we are only monitoring around 30 and have setup a phone
with side cars, we then barge in on the shared lines as needed.
We want to expand that facility to 150 but that means currently we would
have to purchase more side cars along phones.
Any suggestions on how we an make this more workable rather
than having several phones and side cars on each supervisor desk.
Are there any 3rd party software available?

Yeah, you need a recording software vendor involved here. CUCM has a built in framework that allows the recording software to ask for a copy of the audio directly from the phone's built-in bridge without any shared lines. It can be totally stealth or play recording tones to the caller, agent, or both. Most of the vendors are calling this "network based recording". There are dozens of options available in the marketplace:
