Is there a simple way to see call metrics?
I need to search by number/device
I need to be able to see how many calls that phone and or vtc/codec, did for the month and sort those calls by date and time.
I can see the call log in CDR but I have to click view on each call to see the date and time of call. With the amount of numbers and calls, this process will take forever. There has to be an easier way.

The only native option for this is CAR, which is part of the Communication Manager system landscape. However it’s not very feature rich or easy to use. If you need more advanced options a 3:rd party application would be a better option.

i suggest you to use Call Reporting Modules, which produced by cisco partners..
one of best them is "imagicle" with "Call Analytics" module..
https://www.imagicle.com/en/products/call-analytics/
you can create an account on their website, then download "OVA" & install it, use for 30 days trial & then buy license..
also, there are other modules like "VoiP Detective", which is free to use, for limited extensions number

at the final, you can create a python script app, download complete CDR of CUCM, give it to your python, to find & analyze what you want..
or manually doing that with import CDR to an Excel file & use Excel filter & tricks..

I'll second VoIP Detective. The free version has no limit on the number of devices / users / numbers, etc, and there is no 30 day time limit - you can use it forever.

You can try VoIP Detective. it’s a solid free option with no time limit or device restrictions. If you need more advanced features, Imagicle's Call Analytics is another great choice with a free trial. Both are much more efficient than digging through CDR logs manually.
