Having an odd issue and hoping someone here has seen it so that I don't have to spend hours with telco support.
We're in the process of cutting our Paris office over to CallManager, and when we send the caller ID for national calls, they take the liberty of adding 33-0 to the number, making it unusable if someone tries to call it back. We've tried numerous translations, but no luck. I'm wondering if it's a combination of type/plan that needs set or something else that we can try...?

Hi Scott Jones,
in other words, the Telco is adding the 33-0 (where 33 is France and 0 is Paris) in the 'Calling Number' when you make a local call, am I correct?

Yes, that is correct.

Ok.
If your number is 53 90 20 20, the Telco adds the 33-0, so the number appears to the destination as +33(0)53902020, am I correct?
The interested is that France has regions codes in the following range for fixed calls: 1 to 5.
Are you making a local call, Paris (code 1) - Paris? What happen if you dial Paris (1) to Bordeaux (code 5)?
Regards.
