Hi,
I have an interesting issue in terms of caller-ID using a Cisco UCM 8 and a voice gateway.
Before we were using CCM 4.3 with a Cisco 2800 for the Voice Gateway via MGCP.
We moved to CUCM8 with the same voice gateway via MGCP.
Everything works, but the caller-ID for incoming calls cuts off some of the characters.
Using CCM 4.3 before we saw the incoming caller-ID as:
From: Johnathan Warnett
However ising CUCM8 we see the caller-ID as:
From: ohnathan Warne
It removes some of the characters as you can see.
It's the same PSTN provider and voice gateway. What could be causing this on CUCM8?
