if anyone could help, i'm having problems when tranfering external calls, if unanswered they are not going to voicemail, internal ones are, if anyone knows the fix it would be appreciated

Can you post your config and describe the call flow that fails - dialed number, etc.

When external callers call in they are being transfered by the switchboard to the extension, if no one is available it should go to there voicemail

What happens when the call is transfered and is unanswered? Fast busy? Wrong greeting?

when its transfered it goes to the default message saying that there is no mailbox for this number, but it works on internal transfers

OK. This is due to a bug regarding the use of the dialplan-pattern command along with CUE. The dialplan-pattern command expands out the DN to the full E.164 number. For example, 9201 becomes 02076659201. CUE does not have a mailbox corresponding to this number, so the call fails. One way to work around this is with a translation rule.

I have double checked and this is only happening to external calls that are transfered.

I just noticed that you already had a voice translation rule named "1". There could be a conflict there. Can you post your config after the changes? Can you enable the following commands make the call the fails and post the output?

no still getting " there is no mailbox associated with this extension". this is only happening on transfered calls, any normal calls that dont get transfered go to voicemail.
