guys i have a slight issue.

Calls to the main office number is sent to unity express which plays prompts and then sends the call to the main recption.  the problem is when the call reaches the recptionist, the receptionist can not transfer the call. ...

i have change thed transfer pattern under telephony service to .T  the funny thing is that other users can transfer calls. it is only affecting the main recptionisht.

any ideas guys

Hi Max,

Is it just calls that have routed via CUE that can't be transferred

by the receptionist? Or do they have a problem doing transfers

in general?

Cheers!

Rob

yeah, its just calls from CUE

Actually I have just tried something else. The calls are actually transferring from them CUE auto-attendant to the secretary when a caller ‘presses zero for operator’ . The call then reaches the operator but the operator cannot transfer the call. The receptionist has up to three lines. Now when I go to the auto-attendant on CUE and change the DN that transfers to the operator ( recptionist) to the second line of the receptionist’s phone, It all works well. And when a caller calls into the auto-attendant, it now transfers to the second line of the operator and she can transfer without problems.

There is only a problem when i tell CUE auto-attendant to forward to the first line of the operator( receptionist). What makes it even stranger is that the second line of the receptionist is configured the same way as the first.

Hmmm. Anyway, I got some debugs there that I cant really paste here but I will keep trying. ••L

Hi Max,

If this is CME maybe you could try setting Line 1 as an Octo-Line

just to test??

Cheers!

Rob
