Cannot hear the remote end (FXS) ringing but someone responds

Hello

I am seeing a strange issue where when I am trying to call a remote end analogue line (FXS) and I cannot hear the phone ringing but when someone responds I can hear their voice clearly.

Is there anything that I need to put on the config for this or is it something else I am missing?

What is the setup u are using like VG with H.323 /MGCP and what is there at remote end?

HI Thanks for your reply ; it is a VGW with H323; it has other ports on the Router which are working fine.
