Hi,
In a remote site with Cisco IP phones talking across a WAN to a local call manager, calls cannot be made after switch changes. IP connectivitiy between the local switch and the call manager is present.
The only changes on the switches were changing from VTP client to VTP transparent.
All remote sites had the same local switch change and all remote sites have the same problem.
IP phone --- local switch ---- local router ----- core router ----- core switch ----- call manager
Any ideas where to start looking to get this resovled?
Thanks.

Thanks for your response. We finally got a TAC case going on this because at first it was assumed to be switching issues. The ip domain name has a call manager dependency for remote gateways. The remote gateways did not have ip domain name defined and one was added which caused the issue.

Could you please explain the solution a bit more? Just to have a clear picture of the issue. What exactly was the issue with ip domain name

We changed the name of the remote gateways to inlcude the new ip domain-name in their defined names, and that resovled the issue. That's all I know. The problem is resovled.
