Change Ring Time on Analog Phone

One of my users has an analog phone that is synced with Unity Connection. The device rings only twice before going to voicemail. I have tried to change this on Unity Connection but have not found a setting to allow it, and I have not found any such option on the phone itself, (a VTech Dect 6.0 I think is the model). I have tried to change the call forward settings through CUCM but this has not done anything either. Any suggestions?

Hi,

In CUCM Administration, you need to change "No Answer Ring Duration" under Directory Number configuration. The default value is 12 Seconds which is 3 Rings. (4 Seconds = 1 Ring).

Thanks for your response. I have already changed that number to 45, but the phone still goes to voicemail by the third ring.

That is strange that the above doesn’t work.


How is your analog phone connected to the network, is it through an ATA? Have you try to reset it?
