Cisco 2621XM SIP Register Realm

Hi Guys,

I've got a really weird error, I got my hands on an old 2621XM via an online selling store (Ebay). I've nuked the config and re set it up. However the realm keeps erroring out when it tries to auth.

Auth Detail from the CCSIP Event

CSeq: 15 REGISTER

Contact: <sip:029045xxxx@10.10.10.253:5060>

Expires: 3600

Authorization: Digest username="029045xxxx",realm="BroadWorks",uri="sip:203.2.134.1:5060",response="2f301955ae7761687ae36aad3771bb92",nonce="BroadWorksXgs1tfuieT80kohqBW",cnonce="0A13705B",qop="auth",algorithm=MD5,nc=00000001

Content-Length: 0

The "Realm" should be sip.internode.on.net not BroadWorks.

so when I do

LANE-RTR002#sh run | incl realm

authenticate realm sip.internode.on.net

credentials username 029045xxxx password <<sekrets >> realm sip.internode.on.net

authentication username 029045xxxx password 7 <<sekrets >> realm sip.internode.on.net

So in every respect it's got the right realm but because it's trying to auth with a different one I can't bring the sip trunk up.

Any thoughts?

Cheers

Jeffy

Try to remove the realm parameter in your config and post the output of the command "debug ccsip all".

Regards.
