Cisco 6941 phones are 2 hours behind

Ever since we upgraded to CUCM 12.5.1.14900-63, our Cisco 6941 phones are running 2 hours behind, all our other versions (7821,7841,7962G,6901) are displaying the correct time. All those versions of phones are pointing to 1 NTP Server.

is your CUCM time Correct  ?

what's the output of utils ntp status ? is it showing right time ?

Was this working before upgrade ? what firmware versions you where using  before upgrade and can you revert the firmware to working firmware and check ?

CUCM time is correct, utils ntp status outputs the correct time, yes before the upgrade, all 6941 phones were showing the correct time, we were on version 8.5, then we moved to 12 and then we moved to 12.5, we are unable to revert firmware as this only affects the 6941 versions and not our other versions (7821,7841,7962G,6901)

As this is only affecting the 6941 and after upgrading to version 12.5 try different firmware for 6941. While upgrading to 12.5 the phone firmware will also get updated. May be it could be BUG in firmware version which you use.

Also Make sure that these phone are in proper DTG.

You can revert the firmware for individual phone models, you can even revert the firmware for individual phones.

Your 6941 phones may be in a device pool that uses a Date / Time Group with the wrong time zone.

In CUCM, check what Date / Time Group the device pool of the affected phones use.

Next, in CUCM,  go to System > Date / Time Group. Find and open the Date / Time Group in question. Make sure it is using the correct time zone. Also, compare other settings with one of the working Date / Time Groups and save changes once finished.

Apply config to or reset one of the affected phones. If the issue is resolved, reset or apply config to all other affected phones.
