Hello,
I have read that there is a phone web based utility we can access by putting in the IP of the phone and /admin or /user. I have tried and I always get "The requested URL was not found on the web server." How do I enable access? I have searched thru many documents and found nothing. Does this apply to my environment?

If you're running CUCM then you're running enterprise FW, you need to enable web access on your device in CUCM and you will NOT get any admin or user pages, you will get a read-only page where you can see phone information and download logs. If the device is web enabled, and it's registered, you can simply click on the IP shown in device -> phone and you will get the phone's webpage. No /admin or /user, simply the IP.
The admin/user pages to which you refer are for phones running 3PCC/MPP FW, which is used to configure the device to be used with a 3rd party PBX.

Cisco IP phones have a web page that can be accessed by http://<ip-of-phone>. However, the web page is disabled by default for security reasons.
In Enterprise Phone Parameters (under the System menu) you can turn the web page on globally by enabling the setting 'Web Access'. You can also enable that setting in Common Phone Profile on a group basis, and you can enable the setting on an individual phone.

As other member mentioned, configuration will be possible only when you are using MPP version phones. Could you please let us know your phone firmware version is it a Enterprise or MPP.
If its enterprise version, You can active the web gui from CUCM phone page.
