I have a big issue now, One of my network Team ordered IP Phones Model 7821 and we have CCM version 5.0 and i know this model is not supported by this CCM version, actually one of my friend told me that we can add XML file for this Model and register them On CCM.
Any one know how to achieve this ?

Adding a phone to CUCM involves adding all the references to the various tables in the DB that are used for a device, not sure how he thinks just adding a .xml file will add support for them. You need to upgrade to a release which supports those models to really use them.

Hi Hassan,
If upgrading the cucm is not possible right now then you can add these phones as a third party SIP device on CUCM as explained in the following couple of links

if your cucm has the option to add thrid party SIP device in the dropdown menu of adding a phone then it will work, many customers use this option.
