CISCO 7912 SIP TO SCCP

Hi, I have a 7912 ip phone with firmwere SIP, SCCP and I have to update. If I connect it to the phone automatically takes Callmanager network parameters, but does not update SCCP. The phone seems to be stuck.

How can I solve this problem?

Hi,

Did u try factory reset for the phone and then,try upgrading?

Secondly,what is the call manager version & SCCP firmware u are tryong to upgrade?

Hi,

I think u are using call manager version 6.1 and SCCP version which u are trying to upload in call manager is cmterm-7912-8.0.4-sccp.cop.sgn

Please confirm.

If yes,please refer the URL which says that u need to upload the firmware first in call manager server

I use CUCM 7.0.1. the phone automatically takes the network parameters but does not update.

Dear friend

Kindly go to Cisco call manager , device -device setting - device default configuration - Cisco 7912  load information assign sccp firmware .   After that restart the phone using hardware .

I have checked in call manager 7.1.5 and found the firmware for 7912 as CP7912080003SCCP070409A loaded .
