Sounds like CUCM is either finding an unroutable urgent priority match or the intended pattern is not in the Calling Search Space of the device.

Is the CSS the same as on other phones which can successfully call the number?

Check the dialed number analyzer using the CSS configured on the device (and line).

Check for any translation patterns or urgent priorities route patterns.

Are you using the @ symbol? If so, have you installed and chosen the correct Numbering plan?

CCM Traces would probably be helpful also.

Aslam

The 79 series phone is once a product of Polycom
before Cisco purchase the manufacture. So compatibility or we could say
certificate problems were there, and caused the "untrust"status. DEs have
fixed almost all compatibility problems. The ability to display the active
load name was introduced in CUCM 7.1, This has a corresponding change in the
SCCP spec of firmware, where the firmwareLoadName field is added to
theStationRegisterMessage. This change is in SCCP version 14 and higher. So
all the phone could avoid the issue with specified firmware except 7937
because the legacy 7937 support a maximum SCCP protocol version of 9, and
thus it does not support the firmwareLoadName field, and consequently the
callmanager will not be able to display a load name on the phone page, and
there may be a "not trusted "message. If there is no impact for use we can
consider it to be normal.

many thanks. my isuue is resolved

How did you resolve this Aslam, We are having the exact same issues with our Cisco 7937, I can make local calls on it within our organization but I can't make outbound calls from it. please help! even Cisco TAC can't figure it out.
