Hello
I have cisco ip phone 8831.
The phone won't register .
I have cucm version 8.5.1.15900-4 and I installed device pakage and I made reset to pub and sub.
The phone accept ip but won't register even though we configured tftp manually
any idea?

If the cluster has been rebooted after applying the device pack then please provide a parallel set of captures from cucm and the IP phone after its plugged in till the time it gets stuck on registering.

I can see the firmware cmterm-8831-sip.9-3-3-5.cop compatible with uploaded Device pack cmterm-devicepack8.5.1.17131-2.cop in show version shared by you.
Did u reboot the server?

can u try ping 8831 IP address from CLI of PUb/Sub to check reachability?

We have more than enough. Can you please refer to the image attached in the
first post ? It seems to be red X instead of the little image of the phone.I thhink it might be related .

I can few bugs related to 9.3(3) firmware.Can u try upgrading to cmterm-8831-sip.10-3-1-16.cop.sgn and check if it works?
CP-8831 can't be registered with re-connecting cable when using AC power

Symptom:
CP-8831 unable to be registered automatically with re-connecting the cable when using AC power
Conditions:
- using AC power
- DHCP disable
- re-connect the cable between the phone and the switch
8831 accepts untagged DHCP Offer after sending Discover on Voice VLAN
CSCup90022
Symptom:
- 8831 displays "Phone not registered"
- 8831 is getting an IP address on a VLAN other than the voice VLAN
Conditions:
- Phone's switchport is configured with both "switchport voice vlan" and "switchport access vlan"
- Two different DHCP servers are used for the data and voice VLANs, and the DHCP servers are not VLAN aware
Workaround:
- Change the switchport's access VLAN to be the voice VLAN
- Remove the voice VLAN from the switchport facing the data VLAN's DHCP server

As you are adding the phone manually, are you assigning a DN to the IP phone as well? If not , please try and do so. As most other parts related to config and network have been covered on this post, it would be better to post the packet captures as requested earlier to get to a resolution quickly.
