Hello!
Everything worked fine for me, until I made a mistake in the dial plan: Instead of | 2_9 | I wrote ||2_9|, then I clicked on save.
Cisco hanging.
When I pick up the phone - the red diode does not light, when the button is clicked, the IVR does not work, the web access does not work. When I lift the tube, I hear clicks.
I removed the lid and examined the card, there are contacts with the signature Jamp1, Jamp2, Jamp3.
Please help to reset the non-volatile memory :(

Have you tried doing it off the network entirely?
* Make sure the ATA is *NOT* plugged into the network.
* Power up the ATA
* Plug an analogue phone into voice port one.
* Lift the handset, and press the button on top of the ATA
* You will be greeted by the American female voice.
* Dial 322873738#*

IVR does not work, I do not hear anything, the red diode does not burn.
On the printed circuit board there are three positions: JP1, JP2, JP3.
What should I close to erase all memory?

People have tried shorting all three using paperclips to unlock this unit for Vonage users from prior years, but they had no luck, I don't know what the headers do and there is no docs, and sadly there isn't support for the unit anymore.
Very old firmware versions allow this command to default it - but it's likely beyond this point also, even IF you had a very old firmware with this security bug:
curl -d a http://ip-address-of-ata-186/dev
Sorry, I'm not sure otherwise and you might burn more time fixing it than replacing it if you're in a business at this point. :(
