Cisco ATA 190 Analog to Digital

Can we use Cisco ATA 190 to convert my existing Analog lines to Digital lines? There is no existing Data connection in the room, only RJ11 drop. we are trying to use Cisco 8861IP Conference phone with the analog line.

the ATA will take an RJ11 to connect your analog line into it, but it will required data / IP address, so you will need to bring data into the room, to make it 'digital' there is no other way to do it

Hi,

It won't work this way. Treat ATA as a phone which needs to register with
call manager same as 8861 and have a number. If you connect 8861 to ATA how
the phone and ATA will register with call manager (each has one port only)
