Hello...
I recently acquired three ATA190 for analog phones I still have. I am trying to configure one of them and some of the issues I have found are:
- CUCM is rejecting it to register. I know this is a topic that is on the topics, but I want to retake it and see if something has been made more clear or resolved.
- Power LED starts flashing as soon as I connect it to the Network. Because of this, the analog phone does not even turn on. At first, it was giving me a Busy tone but now does not give me anything.
- Firmware Upgrade. I am not able to upgrade it to the latest firmware since the Web Interface does not have the option. Under Administrations it only shows Management > Users.
I used to have ATA187 in the other company I worked and never had any problems. Please, if you have some information about the three situations above, let me know :) !
Thanks.

Hi,
The first two issues are covered under "Symptom: The ATA 190 Does Not Register with Cisco Unified Communications Manager" section of the following link
http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/cata/190/1_0/english/administration/guide/sip/ATA190/a190_ag9trb.html
You may try those and let us know if it helps.

Hello, Manish...
We've tried everything and is still showing as rejected.

Can you please check DB state of the Call manager if having multiple nodes You can also issue the following command on the CLI to view database replication: utils dbreplication runtimestate. When database replication is Good on all nodes, restart the Cisco CallManager service on the node to which the device is attempting to register.
Also if you can grab some traces from CUCM that will help to isolate the issue.
1) Detailed Cisco CallManager traces
2) Debug level Cisco TFTP service logs

I found a simple fix for the registering, go into the ATAs web interface and manually set its TFTP server IP, registered almost immediately after I made that change.
