Hi Nithin,
Thanks for responding. The problem, we believe, is with these new C8300 routers that in Call Manager, two gateways needs to be configured. One with MGCP for the router itself and if it has a NIM module installed the PRI and/or POTs line configurations. Secondly, if a 24 port FXS module is installed, that it needs to be configured via SCCP as a new/secondary router in CUCM. Do you know in the drop downs, what device we should choose when attempting to add this 24 port FXS module in Call Manager under add gateway?
Thanks,
Tom

Could you kindly share the MGCP gateway configurations? We need to review the configurations on the router, assuming you have selected the correct model of the router and the hostname with the domain when configuring the MGCP on the CUCM.
Meanwhile, please try resetting the gateway from the CUCM.

It appears that it did not matter, at least for us, which device to pick on the drop downs when configuring the 24 port FXS module as a separate device in CUCM using the SCCP protocol.
