Dear Support,
I need someone to confirm route call from PSTN to AA on Unity Connection 2.x must use translation pattern? I saw most of the discussion mention if want to route PSTN call to AA require translation pattern to transfer the PSTN DN to AA DN. Can I have the Cisco article?
Possible to achive something like this, the PSTN call to main line DN and ring for 5 second no answer forward to second DN, if second DN no answer for 3 second then forward to AA. The second DN is a second DN for reception.

You can route in N number of ways a call to CUC. A TP is not mandatory.
What you would need to configure is CFNA on the DNs and the final one CFNA to a CTI RP with CFA to VM.
Then in CUC configure a call routing rule for forwarded calls to catch it and handle it as you need.

Yes, like you nicely noted the reception number won't be able
to have a mailbox and still be able to be forwarded to the AA. It's
going to be one or the other here
You will still need a Forwarded Call Routing Rule in Unity Connection
that will see the Forwarded DN of the main reception and route
the call to the AA.

Hi Java,
Yes, we are doing that. However the call went to the receiption voice mail not to the AA?
Do i need to remove the receiption voice mail?

Tried to delete the reception mailbox however getting this message "Operation cannot be completed because the object is in use" and will follow the following article to solve it http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/ps6509/products_tech_note09186a0080b35d01.shtml.

Dear All,
Does anyone know how to solve can't delete voice mail from Unity 2.x due to "Operation cannot be completed because the object is in use" even follow http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/ps6509/products_tech_note09186a0080b35d01.shtml this article also can't delete.

Yes you're probably hitting a known bug and will need to remove that reference.To find that reference you can use the following query then remove it from there:
run cuc dbquery unitydirdb select displayname from vw_callhandler where
objectid = (select callhandlerobjectid from vw_menuentry where
