I am having an issue with phones on my CUCM 10 server not getting a directory. They receive a message host not found. Under the phone settings I do not see an ITL or CTL file listed. If I issue the command show itl on the call manager server then I receive the following:
Length of ITL file: 0
The ITL File was last modified on Wed Aug 02 15:01:04 EDT 2017
Parse ITL File
----------------
Invalid ITL file. Error skipping past version.
Error parsing the ITL File.
I did renew and sign my certificates awhile back and I did restart the TVS and TFTP service. Is there a way to regenerate the ITL file?

ITL files are "regenerated" anytime you change you hostname, IP, or domain. Never seen the problem your facing, not sure if the change would force the regen and clear up your errors. Your not in like pre 8.0 mode are you?

Finally got this resolved with TAC. I hit bugid CSCur67631. My CA has a 4096 key length on the certificate and when I created the callmanager cert which has a length of 2048 it tried updating the ITL and it failed. I am running a version of 10.5 that is affected by this bug.
