Cisco headset 730 when dialing an extension, doesn't play the ringing

I have a Cisco headset 730 and when dialing an extension, doesn't play the ringing.
It also doesn't play any Cisco messages like this numbers not in service

I can dial the same extension on my desk phone and I hear the ringing and the messages...

Is there some setting on the headset that would make the headset work like my desk phone?

Does it have something to do with the Noise Canceling being on?

did you happen to silence incoming call notifications on the headset?  This is the (-) minus sign on the headset.

It's actually when I'm making a call, I can't hear the call ringing.

I hear silence and then when the person picks up I can hear them or if it goes to voicemail, I hear their voicemail greeting

Would the (-) silence affect outbound call dialing?

I'll do some testing using the (+) and see if that makes a difference
