Adding Line Group using Bulk Admin Tool

Hello Experts,

I am trying to add some line groupes using Bulk admin tool. This is what I do:

1) I export the line groupe and all dependencies using import/export tool. 

2) I untar the tar file and use the linegroup csv file

3) I add line groupe in the csv file and uploade to Bulk admin adn select Importer/Exporter as the target. 

4) I do a validation before importing the file and receive the follwoing error message.

Validate Configuration Items

Begin Time : 12/05/2024 09:50:55

Failure Details :

FileName Error Code Error Description

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Record Number 1 Record does not match the fileformat selected

Result Summary :

VALIDATE for 0 Records passed.

VALIDATE for 1 Records failed.

End Time : 12/05/2024 09:50:55

Am I doing anything wrong?

In the first file I sent I inter changed the name and RNA REVERSION TIMEOUT to see if that could make a diffrence but the reslut was the same.  The attached file is the one I downloaded using the export tool to export line groupes.

Il looks like the export from 11.5 would work with 12.5. I would appreciate If someone could provide me with an export of line group from version 11.5.

Based on experience from other imports I believe that this could be caused by that there are empty "columns" in  the CSV file.

Try with this file where only columns where you have data is left in.

But the import fails. I am using CUCM System version: 12.5.1.18901-1

Hi,

Now I am receving the following error message:

rna reversion timeout is not a supported field.

but the Job Scheduler shows the following:

Upon verifying your files, I see that you haven't provided the correct information. For line selection 1, you have selected "then" DN partitions. Please try the next group, etc.

The CSV file  below is exported from the lab compare it.

I modified the csv file as you suggested but receiving the following error message:

Do you guys have CUCM version 12.5? If so, could you please try to insert a line group and send me the working csv file.

I don’t, we’re on version 15. Have you shared an untouched file with us? If so we can help you, but not if you try to adopt the file to fix any errors you encounter before sharing the file with us.
