We have 2 Line with ( DN or DID ) in IP Phone.

Requirement is when we receive call on any Line  the phone should not receive the second call on any Line.

Busy trigger for both lines are 1 but when the phone receive  call on line 1 and phone is busy and when we dial the second line DN it is ringing.

Hi,

I haven't tested but can you try setting the max calls and busy trigger both to 1.

Please note that Busy Trigger and Max Number of Call setting is set and applicable at the DN level itself and not on the phone. That being said, even if you have set the Busy Trigger to 1 on both the DNs it will still allow the call to come on 2nd line (remember this is still first call for 2nd line) what it will not allow on both the DNs is that there will not be a second call on those respective DNs.

Regards

Deepak

As Deepak stated this feature is not available on CUCM (+5) as each DN is independent and there is no way to check status of a DN on a phone in order to make routing decisions for other DNs.

It sounds like the 2nd line is causing you issues.  Why not instead use hunt groups?

Use two hunt pilots, one for each DN with their own names but point both to the same hunt list containing one route group.  The route group contains all the people who currently either DN as a 2nd line.

Only one call will be presented at a time (with busy trigger set to 1) and the alerting name will identify which DN is ringing in.   Sorted! :)
