Hi,
I have a Cisco IP phone 7942. I have configured the phone and assigned line to it.
I have copied the configuration of an already registered phone.
Status is still unknown.
System version: 9.1.2.12900-11
Issue : how to get it registered and reasons for the unknown status
Any help would be appreciated.

What's it say on the display of the phone?

Hi Matt,
the phone is at customers end and I can not contact the customer. I just need to get the status changed to registered.

Hi Rohan,
We need to know what is on the display so we can further troubleshoot the issue.
Phone might be displaying "Network Unavailable", "Phone not registered", "Unprovisioned" and etc.

Is the phone properly configured in your CUCM?
