We have access to Cisco PUT . Just wanted to know need of it . I can download UC applications softwares from cisco main Download section then what is the need of CISCO PUT ? Can i download fresh .iso file for UC applcations for installation purpose ? For example if i just want to download CUCM .iso file then should i use PUT or Cisco Main download section ?

PUT tool generally used for placing order like bootable ISO for UC application. The one you see on Cisco.com those are not bootable. for more detail refer to below link

In addition to response from Nadeem (+5), all major upgrade requests need to go through PUT so that besides getting access to bootable ISOs you get proper PAKs for upgrade licenses.
You are correct that all minor upgrade versions are available on CCO, but base .0 releases for example are never posted there, hence another reason to go via PUT.
