Hello all,

I have tested CUMA with demo Verisign SSL Certificate. Can I use another CA vendor or our own enterprise CA? Thank you very much.

Hi,

I suppose you are referring to the communication between ASA and the mobile device itself. According to the following document:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/partner/docs/voice_ip_comm/cuma/CUMA_CUMC_Compatibility_Matrix.html#wp83049

the supported certificate authorities are Geotrust and Verisign.

Theoretically speaking you can use any other certificate authority. Cisco supports Verisign and Geotrust because the root certificates from these authorities are already loaded in the majority of the mobile devices.  If you use any other CA you need to make sure that the root certificate is installed in the mobile device and if not, you need to install it based on the instructions of the mobile phone manufacturer (if it is possible)

Hope this helps,

Christos
