Does anyone know of a Cisco VOIP phone that supports direct fiber connection from phone to switch?

If you would check the datasheets, then you could answer this question.

Short answer: No

Why would you need a phone with a fiber port? How many bandwidth do you need to for a phone call?!

Because my campus environment is renovating many buildings and no longer installs POTS lines, fiber only. I still require phones in the building for 911 purposes. I don't want to purchase a small switch and UPS just to install 1 phone. If I could just plug the phone into the fiber coming into the building and have no other equipment "that'd be great"

Why are you posting this on a two years old post and writing it as if it sounds like you were the OP?

Just came across the problem set in the past year. Looking to see if anyone else on the internet has the same problem. Turns out, yeah.

There are no phones from Cisco that has a fibre connection. This would be quite easy for you to find out by looking through the data sheets for phones on cisco.com.

Depends on how much you want to spend.  This is called "TEMPEST".

There is only one company doing this:  Cisco 8841 Fiber Enabled VoIP Phone
