I'm working on an 11.7 setup that has a main incoming number (POTS) that should ring on all phones. This was initially deployed w/ 10 SCCP phones that all work fine (connection plar to a DN then have that DN appear on all phones as one of the buttons). Recently added a SIP device that needs to be able to answer the same line. I created a DN for it, but from testing it either rings 1 or the other (either the new SIP device or the group of 10 SCCP phones). What would be the best approach to make this work? I was thinking of possibly a hunt-group w/ a the SIP extension and a different common DN for the other phones to share.
i found this https://community.cisco.com/t5/ip-telephony-and-phones/share-dn-between-3rd-party-sip-and-sccp-cme/td-p/1422484 but wasn't sure if there was another way.

Hi,
Please check this post. As per this post, the issue is resolved by configuring same DN tag on Voice register dn <tag> & ephone-dn <tag>.

Thanks for the link. Good to know going forward. I ended up using a hunt group and having the 2 extensions listed there in parallel but if i run into any issues with that I'll give this a try.
