CME - 7936 does not have dial tone when you hit the phone button.

However, you can enter the number and hit "dial" and it works. This is CME 4.0.0(1) with 7936 phone load: cmterm_7936.3-3-5-0.bin.

Has anyone run into this issue with these versions? I'm trying to figure out whether if it's a hardware issue (my only 7936 at the site) or a phone load/CME version issue.

Sounds like a phone load issue. Check through the Release Notes on this Build of CME to see if you can "roll back" to a previous compatible 7936 phone load. I have ran into this with CME 3.4. Might still be issues with this 4.0?

I would first try upgrading to latest FW 3.3(13).

Release notes lists 40 bugs fixed. The bad news, is that there are 30 still open.
