Hi all, the ip phone 9951 is marked as supported with CME version 8.5 but anyone have idea how to configure it?
I can't find any docs on the Cisco site.
Thanks
Enrico.

The 9951 is a SIP phone.
You should configure CME for SIP and maybe download the phone TAR file on CCO.

@DK
You did make me google for the loads command "load 9951 sip9951.9-1-1SR1.loads" regarding the suffix "loads"
· When configuring the load command:
- In Cisco Unified CME 7.0 and earlier versions, do not include the .sbin or .loads file suffix except for the Cisco ATA and Cisco Unified IP Phone 7905 and 7912.
- In Cisco Unified CME 7.0(1) and later versions, use the complete filename, including the file suffix, when you configure the load command for phone firmware versions later than version 8-2-2 for all phone types.
· When configuring the load command for IP phones such as the Cisco Unified IP Phone 7906G, 7911G, 7941G, 7941GE, 7961G, 7961GE, 7970G, and 7971G, configure only the filenames that are marked with an asterisk (*) in the table below.
· Only SCCP phones can be configured as agent phones for Unified CCX 5.0 in Cisco Unified CME 4.2 and later versions. The Cisco VG224 Analog Phone Gateway and analog and SIP phones are supported as usual in Cisco Unified CME, however, not as Unified CCX agent phones.
· When upgrading phone load version, first upgrade phone load 8.0.4 to 8.0.5 followed by phone load 8.0.5 to 8.1.1. Once your phone load version is upgraded to 8.1.1 you should upgrade it to version 8.1.2.

Now its all good .
Thanks

ha! ha! Thx God for Google!
Yeah, I included .loads suffix as 9951 isn't supported until CME 8.5
and I knew u were gonna need it...
One more thing that I shd add is that currently CME does not support
video on 99xx and its planned for future release (8.6 Mar 2011)
Pl. rate/mark thread as answered if your concerns have been addressed.
