I'm looking for a way to change the order in which characters are listed when pressing keypad keys to enter usernames and passwords when logging into extension mobility on a CME 7.1 system.
For example, if responding to the Username: prompt and the phone keypad "3" key is pressed the options available are d e f 3 D E F. I'd like to have the 3 as the first option. It would then be much easier to use numbers only for usernames and passwords. Any ideas ? Thanks.

I'm afraid there is no way and it cannot be changed.

Hi,
The must be a way of doing this?
Can there be a way of disabling the characters and just allowing numeric numbers only rather than displaying text.
I also have CME version 7.1

Steve

No, there is no way. There is already an enhancement for this.
CSCsw29433 EM login screen needs to only show numeric options for password
If you need this, reach your AM so they can let the BU know there are users interested in the feature.

Thanks for your quick response. However...
To confirm,
There is already an enhancement for this = YES?
I need to contact my AM account manager? .. I dont have one?

Can someone tell me how the enhancement for this is applied?
Thanks

An enhancement means that someone filed a request for something to be included in the future. It doesn't mean that a solution exists right now.
